At TaleMed, we understand that nursing is a calling and a vocation. That’s why we strongly promote and advocate for the rights, health and safety of every nurse we place. While you’re busy taking care of others, we’re busy taking care of you.
We pride ourselves on showing our gratitude for the sacrifices you make by providing you with competitive pay, comprehensive health benefits and superior support once you decide to join our team.
The nursing profession is the largest segment of the nation’s healthcare workforce.
Among professions surveyed by the annual Gallop Honesty/Ethics poll, nurses have ranked at the top of the list since 2001.
While our professionals have access to some of the top-paying positions in the industry, many factors affect your paycheck — things such as the specialty area, location and benefits you choose. If you’re looking to optimize the amount you make, it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with specialties that are in high demand as they tend to have better pay rates. In addition, different areas of the country offer different salaries. For example, a traveling ICU nurse in California will make a different amount than a Labor and Delivery nurse in Indiana.

Once your assignment location is confirmed, it’s time to find housing! TaleMed provides two housing options – Housing Allowance or Assisted Housing.
The Housing Allowance option allows you to receive the weekly housing allowance directly into your paycheck to compensate you for finding your own housing. If you find accommodations that cost less than the monthly housing allowance provided by TaleMed, you get to keep the difference. For this reason, the majority of our travelers choose this option.
Or, you can opt to take the Assisted Housing option. With this option, you work with TaleMed’s Housing Coordinators to find safe, comfortable housing that is within a preferred distance to your hospital. Please call us to discuss options.
