Why Consistency, Consistency, Consistency is our Third Core Value
Consistency: Conformity in the application of something, typically that which is necessary for the sake of logic, accuracy, or fairness.
TaleMed shows consistency in the way that we implement our processes to make both the employee experience and the Health Care Professional experience as positive as possible.
Our six core values — Respect, Innovation, Consistency, Humility, Excellence and Resilience — drive our vision of how we do business every day. As a team, we are committed to providing the best patient care, building stronger communities and supporting each other as individuals.
In our RICHER series of blogs, we will explore each core value and how it relates to our everyday life. At our recent Associate and Leadership Corporate Summits, team members spoke about each core value.
A Key to Success: Consistency
What do The Rock, Eric Church, LeBron James and TaleMed employees have in common?
It’s consistency, according to TaleMed Team Lead Robby Williams.
“We show up every day, do our jobs and hit the ground running,” he says. “Consistency is about doing your job whatever the place you’re in, whether you’re in a good mood or not.”
Having a consistent mindset starts with clear leadership that creates an environment of expectations and support. Sr. Client Service Director Liz Maffey credits CEO Elizabeth Tracy for mentoring her on how to implement this core value.
Hard Work Pays Off Every Day
We also believe that success isn’t about luck ― or even ambition. It’s about focusing on what needs to be done and following through, no matter the obstacles or hurdles.
At TaleMed, consistency requires:
- Commitment. We will be dependable, reliable and responsible for our decisions and actions every single day. We’re committed to long-term success and will never take shortcuts.
- Empowerment. We will encourage and build skills and habits that help us focus on our goals. We take responsibility as individuals and as team for our actions. No excuses. No complaints.
- Mindfulness. We will be in the present moment while remembering our mission and vision. We encourage regular feedback and will learn from any mistakes.
What you do every day matters more than what you do every once in a while.
