5 Steps to Speed up Compliance
Compliance is an integral part of any hiring process. Without the compliance process the whole system falls apart. In relation to a previous blog posted a few weeks back titled: “Trends of Industry” http://talemed.com/trends-of-industry/ we hit on the fact that start dates are moving from 1 month to 2-3 weeks. Therefore it is more important than ever for a nurse to get “compliant” as soon as possible. In cooperation with the TaleMed Compliance Department we have outlined below the 5 most pertinent items necessary to get the compliance process moving efficiently
1. Sign Up for Background Check
A background check is required in the compliance process. Your TaleMed recruiter will email you a link with instruction on how to carry out this process. After following the link it is a sign up that takes minutes to do. Without the background check the entire process becomes stalled and inefficient.
2. Drug Screen
Instructions will be sent by your TaleMed recruiter to your specified email. The drug screen is a simple process that most, if not all of us working in the medical field have undergone.
3. Paycor Onboarding
Paycor is TaleMed’s payroll company. They are located in Cincinnati, OH and execute payroll operations in an efficient and secure manner. A quick onboarding session with Paycor’s system in necessary in order to receive automated pay from TaleMed.
4. TaleMed/Medical Documents
These are an assortment of documents necessary for the compliance process to be completed. This includes general medical forms as well as TaleMed specific information.
5. I9 Completion
Form I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. Both employees and employers (or authorized representatives of the employer) must complete the form.
